Your request may be delayed if additional information is needed to direct or resolve
your problem. Include things such as:
- For login/account problems, your username or account number(s) and
the name of the system to which you are trying to connect.
- What you were doing when the problem occured.
- What you were trying to do when the problem occured.
- Additional details that may help to replicated the problem.
For example:
- Computer name/location/IP address (especially for public or
department lab computers).
- How the computer is connected to the internet.
- OS name and version.
- Program(s) used when the problem occurred.
- For a failure, were you successful in the past? On the same computer? On another computer?
- Have there been recent changes to your system? What changes?
- Any error message you received (cut and paste it if possible).
Please do not include sensitive data, such as SSNs or passwords.
