Speed Routing: By including your best estimate of the Problem/Request Type and/or Support Office/Group for your request, we can more quickly direct your request to the appropriate Support Staff.

Example Problem/Request Type:
Choose as many as you think apply to your Support Request.
Blackboard Login/account problems; account/course requests for instructors.
Classroom/Lab Support issues related to the ADIT PC domain (open PC labs and department using the ADIT domain), isengard (linux lab), classroom technology (SmartBoards, computer teaching labs, etc.).
EKey Username/EKey not working for account activation or changing a password.
Email Login/account problems for username@mines.edu accounts (for IS/Exchange email accounts, select Information Services as the Support Group); Webmail problems; INBOX quota problems; spam filtering help.
Network Problems with campus wired or wireless connections.
Security Computer security issues, such as VPN access problems, virus or anti-virus problems, compromised computer issues.
Trailhead Login/account problems; problems with CSM Groups or the Portal Calendar; request for creation of Portal resource calendars; suggestions for new channels or improvements.
Other Please select Other when your problem does not fit into any of other categories and include a category in the text box.

Support Office/Group:
Choose the most appropriate support office or group (if any) for your problem/request.
Academic Computing & Networking (AC&N) Support issues for campus central services such as @mines.edu email accounts; distribution/replacement of EKeys; computer lab/ADIT accounts (eg, in the Computer Commons or Library); webmaster/web services requests for web pages with www.mines.edu as part of the URL; questions or problems related to campus anti-virus software; campus wired and wireless computer networking; general campus computing questions or issues.
Academic Department Support (ADS) Support issues for most academic departments such as account/password problems for local departmental accounts, desktop/computer support for departmental labs and faculty/staff.
Admissions Problems or questions related to admissions or re-admissions.
Financial Aid Problems or questions related to applying for Financial Aid, Financial Aid awards, scholarships, workstudy awards, etc.
Finance/Student Billing Problems or questions related to Student Accounts/Billing, Financial Accounts.
Information Services (Administrative Computing) Desktop/computer support for administrative offices; IS Exchange email accounts (First.Last@is.mines.edu accounts); support or problems with web pages that have www.is.mines.edu as part of the URL; IT support for Banner.
HR/Payroll Problems or questions related to your employement status, payroll, benefits or campus directory entries for staff/faculty.
Registrar Student registration or transcript issues; Faculty Services (via SSB/Trailhead) related issues such as viewing course rosters or waitlists; questions or problems related to classroom scheduling (Astra system); campus directory entries for students.
